It’s one of the most well-known (yet most tiny too) food markets of Chiang Mai. Located in the backpackers area, it daily attracts lots of locals and foreigners. You will find there fresh vegetables, fruit, fruit-shakes, spices, cooked chicken, fish, sweets, coffee and other food and drink goodies worth a try. And it’s cheap. Cooking school students are automatically brought there for their thai cooking culture lesson. Nearby, you will find lots of massage places, guesthouses and restaurants

Here, you'll not only find Thai crafts and products you won't see anywhere else, it's also located in an area full of coffee shops, sidewalk cafes, bars, beautiful Thai temples and more food stalls than you've ever seen.
The Night Bazaar area in Chiang Mai is a popular spot to spend an evening, and from around 6pm the streets around it are bustling with visitors who have come to check out the hundreds of stalls that set up their wares nightly. There is plenty on offer to buy, whether you are looking for traditional crafts from the region or imitation branded products. It is also a great area to have dinner or a drink, with a great variety of Thai and Western Restaurants near the Night Bazaar.
Situated only 2 minutes walk north from the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar and sitting beside the Ping River, the Warorot Market is a busy hive of daytime activity. Warorot is probably the most well known market in Chiang Mai. You’ll find a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a huge supply of Chiang Mai specialty snacks and traditional dishes.
The Saturday Market is open every Saturday from 4pm till midnight. Like the Chiang Mai Sunday Market the road is closed to all vehicular traffic so you can browse the goods on display, bargain with vendors for a good price and wander freely around without traffic worries.
At roughly the center of the walled city,in the district where the former rulers of ChiangMai built their palaces,stands the monument to the 'Three Kings' King Mengrai, the founder of ChiangMai his contemporary and reportedly good friend King Ramkamhaeng and King NgamMuang According to legend, the three worked together to lay out the city of ChiangMai. The sculpture has become something of an iconic image representing ChiangMai. You will see it reproduced in various forms all around the city.
One of Chiang Mai’s most important temples is the Wat Chedi Luang located in the ancient walled part of the city. The Wat Chedi Luang, also known as the Jedi Luang and “The temple of the Great Stupa” initially consisted of two more temples named Wat Ho Tham and Wat Sukmin, that were all merged into one.
(Temple of the Lion Buddha) is an important Buddhist monastery and temple on the west side of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Founded in the 14th century, it houses two medieval Buddha statues.
Coolest, Funkiest Street in Town Nimman is Chiang Mai's chicest neighbourhood. Since the mid-00s the kilometer-long road between Huay Kaew and Suthep has attracted trendy coffee shops, natty boutiques, hot and cool night spots and some of the city's most modern apartments. If you want to be seen - or want to watch people who want to be seen - this is probably the place for you.
